Junior Varsity Volleyball

Head Coach
Mr. Kevin Adema

Kevin was born in Toronto, Canada and moved to the United States in 2014. Kevin has played competitive volleyball since 7th grade winning state championships in 8th grade and 12th grade. After high school, Kevin played on  Regional All-Star teams and went on to play on the University of Redeemer Royals collegiate men’s team, which he also captained.

Kevin has actively coached for the past 11 years. In Florida, Kevin has head coached volleyball at both PCCA and Covenant Christian School.

Kevin is the Director of Marketing & Athletics at PCCA.

Assistant Coach
Mrs. Laura Rhoa

With over a decade of volleyball coaching experience, Coach Rhoa brings a great depth of leadership to the Patriot volleyball program. Prior to joining the Patriots in 2018, Coach Rhoa held head and assistant coaching roles with Covenant Christian’s JV and Varsity teams where they consistently finished Top 3 in Districts.

Coach Rhoa holds a Master’s Degree in Contract Management from Florida Tech, a Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from Barry University and has specialized training in Kinesiotaping and Sports Injury Management. Coach Rhoa works for Brevard Public School working with pre-K through 6th grade general education and exceptional education students with fine motor, visual motor and/or executive functioning or processing issues; she also evaluates pre-K students to see if they qualify for ESE services.

Developmental Coach
MRs. Hadley Mussler

Coach Mussler joins the Patriot Volleyball coaching team for the 2019 season as an experienced high school, travel and collegiate-level player. After playing competitively, she coached high school and travel teams in North Florida and Georgia.

Her years of experience as both a setter and outside hitter make her the perfect asset for developing and formalizing a strong program for years to come.

Coach Mussler is a Student Life Coordinator at PCCA.
